What does the process database licence entail?

With a valid licence, users can work with the current version of the process database.

NMD process database licence

The NMD process database is managed and maintained by Stichting NMD. The licence subscription runs from 1 January to 1 January of the following year. During this period, Stichting NMD provides access to the NMD process database. Responsibility for implementation lies with the subscriber. Interim updates, including new process data and methodological changes, are part of the subscription and are released as new versions of the NMD process database.

After receiving the NMD process database, it can be imported into the SimaPro software tool, which is available under licence and provided by Pré Sustainability. For more information about a SimaPro subscription, please refer to their website.

Prior to delivery of the NMD process database, Stichting NMD will verify that a valid SimaPro licence is in place.
