Information for LCA- practitioners and recognised LCA experts
Are you working on environmental data for registration in the Dutch Environmental Database? This page provides the methodological principles, technical tools and process information for preparing, verifying and submitting environmental data in accordance with the Assessment Method for Environmental Performance of Construction Works. This information is intended for (recognised) LCA consultants, recognised LCA experts, consultants and other professionals working on environmental declarations.
Supplied environmental data (category 1 and 2) must be compiled in accordance with the Assessment Method and validated in accordance with the Verification Protocol. The Assessment Method defines the methodical requirements for the LCA profile for information purposes for the LCA practitioner. The NMD Verification Protocol describes the procedure for assessing data, serving as a guideline for recognised verifiers.
An LCA consultant prepares environmental data for an environmental declaration in the Dutch Environmental Database. A recognised LCA expert checks whether the environmental data and the LCA file meet the requirements of the Assessment Method for Environmental Performance of Construction Works and the Verification Protocol.
