Heleen Scholte - Team Lead Communications & Stakeholder Management

From an early age, I have felt connected to everything that grows and blooms. As Team Lead Communications & Stakeholder Management at the Stichting Nationale Milieudatabase (NMD), I work to communicate the complex content of the NMD in a clear and accessible way. The better known the NMD is, the better the system works. More environmental data and declarations in the database make calculations and analyses more accurate. In addition, producers gain more insight through their LCAs into how they can make their production processes more sustainable.

I am glad that my work allows me to contribute to a more sustainable living environment. In my free time, I enjoy walking our dog, doing odd jobs around the house and baking, especially Italian. I also read a lot and watch films and series.
