This year, Bouwen met Staal is organising Staalbouwdag on 8 October at the AFAS Theater in Leusden, near Amersfoort. Staalbouwdag is the annual industry event for all decision makers in the broad Dutch (steel) construction sector: from clients, architects and structural engineers to contractors, steel builders and suppliers. The trade fair at Staalbouwdag presents new and innovative services, products and projects from companies and organisations involved in designing and building with steel.

Knowledge congress
Alongside the trade fair, Bouwen met Staal is once again offering Staalbouwdag visitors a varied congress programme this year. The central theme this time is the Bouwakkoord Staal. Through introductions, expert panels and discussions with the audience, the ambitions and agreements in the accord for further making the use of steel in the construction and civil engineering sector more sustainable, across the entire steel construction chain, will be explored in more detail. The grand finale of the congress is the announcement and presentation of the winners of the Nationale Staalprijs.
