Show that your product is listed in the NMD

Is your product registered in the Dutch Environmental Database? Use the official communication materials to make this visible. Download the visual marks and place them on your website, product pages, brochures or quotations. This lets project developers, architects, advisors and clients see directly that the environmental data for your product is available for use in environmental performance calculations.

The NMD communication materials show that a validated environmental declaration for your product is registered in the Dutch Environmental Database. By using a visual mark on your website, in quotations or on product sheets, architects, advisors and clients can see directly that your product can be used in environmental performance calculations. Link the visual mark to your product's page in the Viewer, so visitors can view your environmental declaration with a single click. The communication materials are available to download free of charge, in three formats.

With these visual marks, you can show that your product is registered in the Dutch Environmental Database. This increases the visibility of your product and helps users find the right environmental data more quickly.

Use the visual marks, for example, on:

  • your website
  • product pages
  • brochures and product sheets
  • quotations
  • project documentation
  • presentations

Frequently asked questions

Can I adapt the visual mark myself, for example in colour or shape?

No. The visual mark must be used unaltered, in the shape and colours as downloaded. It is also not permitted to create your own variant using the NMD logo.

I have several products, but not all of them are registered in the NMD. Can I use the visual mark as a company-wide claim?

No. The visual mark may only be used for products whose environmental declaration is actually registered in the NMD, not as a general company feature.

Where should I link the visual mark to?

Preferably to your specific product's page in the Viewer, so visitors can view the environmental declaration directly.

What happens if my environmental declaration changes or expires?

The visual mark remains linked to the fact that an environmental declaration is registered. Make sure the link to the Viewer stays up to date, and adjust your own use as soon as your environmental declaration changes or expires.

In which file formats are the communication materials available?

PNG as standard. For EPS or JPEG, please fill in the contact form and select "other topic".
