English version of the Environmental Performance Assessment Method

The Environmental Performance Assessment Method for Construction Works version 1.2 – in short, the Assessment Method – is now available in English. The Assessment Method describes how the environmental performance of construction works in the Netherlands is calculated and forms the basis for, among other things, the environmental performance calculation and the inclusion of data in the Dutch Environmental Database.

This new version officially came into force on 1 January 2025. Version 1.2 builds on version 1.1 (March 2022), including amendments 4 and 5.
With this English translation, we aim to provide optimal support to international users – such as software developers, LCA practitioners, recognised reviewers, construction professionals and manufacturers of construction products.
