Dutch Environmental Database grows to more than 5,000 environmental declarations
The Dutch Environmental Database (NMD) has reached a new milestone: there are now more than 5,000 environmental declarations available. This is good news for everyone working on sustainable construction.
An environmental declaration provides insight into the environmental impact of a product. The more products are included in the database, the better designers, builders and clients can base their choices on reliable data. This way, we are jointly building a construction sector that is more transparent, sustainable and future-proof.
For manufacturers, it is important to have their product included in the NMD. An environmental declaration offers:
