New terminology

Recognition for LCA issuers
Also starting July 1, NMD Foundation is introducing a new recognition for LCA issuers. These professionals can be recognized as "recognized LCA issuers" by meeting specific requirements that demonstrate their knowledge and experience in the field. This step is an important development, as the recognition of LCA issuers allows the market to differentiate itself in LCA preparation through extensive knowledge and sufficient work experience over and within the field. It is also a stepping stone to becoming more easily qualified as an Recognised LCA approver in the future.
Conclusion
With these changes, the National Environmental Database Foundation is taking an important step in further improving the environmental data in the database. By setting clear requirements and distinguishing between approved and unapproved preparers and approved reviewers, the quality and reliability of LCA reports will be further improved.
