Data review in the NMD
The data as entered in the NMD is published only after it has been verified. For category 1 and 2 data, the review is done by recognised LCA reviewers. Through the input module, one is appointed by the LCA practicioner of the data in question. The steps to be taken to review and approve data are described in a manual. After approval, the data is automatically published in the NMD the next day.
