Users of the Dutch National Environmental Database (NMD) include architects, construction companies, LCA preparers, governments and environmental consultants. They use the NMD to calculate environmental performance of buildings and materials, meet sustainability requirements, and draw up environmental policies. Review bodies and researchers also use NMD for verification and scientific research.
