Jan-Willem Groot spoke at Lente-akkoord webinar
On 9 September, our managing director Jan-Willem Groot was one of the speakers at the webinar “MPG, wlc and Europe – climate neutral within 25 years”. The Lente-akkoord organised this together with the Dutch Environmental Database and the Ministry of VRO.
With more than 330 participants, there was great interest. Jan-Willem spoke about the system, the environmental performance calculation (MPG), the role of wlc and the use of environmental declarations.
The responses to the webinar were positive: clear presentations, knowledgeable speakers and a good mix of policy and practice. At the same time, it became clear that there is a need for more in-depth information, especially on MPG, wlc and European legislation.
Interesting topics were also suggested for future webinars, such as:
- making concrete more sustainable
- European legislation
- digital product passports
- software integrations (BIM, GPR)
- hybrid construction and system transitions
