Hans Beerepoot - Board Secretary
As an experienced Board Secretary in professional associations and foundations, I bring strong administrative discipline and a solid legal foundation to the Dutch Environmental Database Foundation (Stichting NMD). Throughout my career, I have worked within complex governance structures in which careful decision-making, clear accountability and sustainable continuity are essential. In addition, I have extensive experience as an all-round legal adviser, with expertise in drafting, reviewing and implementing regulations, contracts and policy documents. This combination of administrative and legal knowledge enables me to support the organisation with robust, practice-oriented and well-substantiated advice.
My motivation to work for Stichting NMD stems from the conviction that reliable environmental data is indispensable for a future-proof construction sector. Stichting NMD plays a central role in safeguarding the quality of environmental performance calculations and thus supports the transition to a sustainable built environment. This public responsibility, combined with the foundation’s independent and sector-overarching character, is a strong driving force for me.
With appreciation for established governance traditions and a forward-looking view of developments in the sector, I contribute to the further strategic development of Stichting NMD.
