At the Dutch Environmental Database, I am committed to achieving a circular construction economy. As a project manager, I work to ensure reliable and accessible environmental data, enabling the sector to make well-informed, sustainable choices.
For years, I was active within the industry association for engineering firms, advocating for a higher priority for sustainability in the built environment. Additionally, I worked as a Team Lead for Environmental Impact, focusing on the implementation of environmental performance calculations (MPG) and environmental cost indicators (MKI) for governments and clients. We are only at the beginning, and there is still much to be done to encourage all parties to work within this system!
I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and that consistent, accurate data are essential for achieving our sustainability goals. Together, we are building a future-proof construction economy where circular thinking becomes the standard.
