Market invitation for updating category 3 data

Stichting NMD is responsible for developing and maintaining category 3 environmental product declarations (EPDs) for civil engineering (GWW) and residential & non-residential construction (B&U). It is essential that these EPDs are prepared consistently. In recent years, a large-scale quality improvement was carried out for GWW declarations, and we are currently in the final phase of the first round of quality improvements for B&U, in which new parent reports and EPDs are being developed per element.

Stichting NMD is far from finished with improving the quality of category 3 data. However, we cannot do this alone. We need expert partners to help us create and update reports and EPDs for both GWW and B&U elements.

A request for proposals was recently sent out to market parties with LCA expertise, inviting them to submit an offer for one or more GWW and/or B&U elements. It is important to us that parties only propose elements in which they have sufficient expertise. The deadline for submission is August 15.
