There are still many steps to be taken towards a sustainable society and it’s extremely important that we prevent greenwashing. It’s good to see increasing numbers of manufacturers and sectors adding their products’ environmental data to the NMD, which makes reliable results available. Manufacturers also use environmental data to innovate and reduce the environmental impact of their product. And that’s really important. My curiosity and analytical skills are so useful to my role at the NMD. I have a background in Industrial Design and Industrial Ecology (science of sustainability) and enjoy analysing and devising solutions for sustainability issues. As well as being creative, I’m often found outdoors at boot camps, doing slacklining, juggling or photography, and I also enjoy climbing.
