Balance is important, even in the world of construction and infrastructure. Balance between people, planet and profit. Aware of the impacts of buildings and infrastructure on, for example, climate change, raw materials, soil and water quality and biodiversity.

For years, I have been working with great enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise on the cutting edge of the public and private sectors for sustainability and circular economy to achieve this balance. Because I am inspired by beautiful buildings, cities and works of art, but also by clean air and nature and a world where future generations will also be able to live well.

Accomplishing a circular economy by 2050 or preferably even sooner is crucial. The Dutch Environmental database is an essential part in this process. Because data creates insight, the basis for sustainable and circular measurements in construction and infrastructure.
